Testimonials

"I know my son gets a lot out of being a student at Zanshin Kenjutsu and watching him improve with the forms has been a source of great pride. I was recently reassured that he knows how valuable his experience there is as well. He had to write an essay before his belt test and to hear him think out loud about all the facets of his life that Zanshin Kenjutsu has reached was indescribable. I had no idea the far reaching impact his time has had on so much of his young life, but the positive force of Zanshin Kenjutsu is priceless."

"Zanshin Kenjutsu Kenpo of Hudson is a unique place to study martial arts. Sensei Dave is not just an instructor, he is an involved teacher of martial arts. He cares about what his students learn. He teaches in a supportive atmosphere and takes the time to develop skills in all levels of students. The dojo has a friendly atmosphere and ranks are not handed out in order to make profits. Students earn their ranking. Although the students work hard in class, care is taken to avoid injury. I recommend Zanshin Kenjutsu Kenpo of Hudson to students of all ages and levels of training."

"Over a year ago my two children, at the time ages 6 and 4, started Zanshin Kenjutsu Kenpo with Sensei Dave. The Tiger Tykes program offers a student the ability to learn at a comfortable pace. Sensei Dave, as well as the other instructors, exudes an excellence in discipline, as well as a high level of patience when working with the young students. They promote a well managed learning atmosphere and make it an entertaining experience. After more than a year's worth of training my children have shown marked improvement in strength, flexibility, motivation and discipline. This motivation and discipline encourages them to look forward to the next class."
